As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I help people repair and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others.
The Therapist Behind the Chair
Hey there, I'm Sadie!
I don't work with broken people. I work with people who have patterns, thoughts, beliefs, and systmes that don't work for them anymore.
The ways we cope, communicate, protect ourselves, or relate, developed for good reasons. At one point, those patterns likely helped us survive, belong, or make sense of something unfamiliar. The problem is that what once served a purpose now holds you hostage.
I am curious about you, and how your situation is unique to your life. That curiosity keeps us from becoming stuck on, "What's wrong?" and gets us exploring "What makes sense about this?", "What is it costing me?", and "What will allow change to take place?".
Why I do What I do
Sometimes what we face isn't the direct result of our own actions. However, the hurt, betrayal, dishonesty, and loss of hope becomes a part of our experience. I am well acquainted with this type of suffering, and know that what once may have happened to us, does not have to continue to hurt us.
I've experienced first hand what it's like to inadvertently live a life that doesn't challenge or displace the hurt that you carry. I've also experienced the freedom that comes from the willingness to voluntarily take on the responsibility of your own healing while being afraid to do so.
I am honored to now have the opportunity to guide others as they take this similar path.

What it looks like to work together
Collaborative, Compassionate, and Intentional
I combine therapeutic depth and insight with coaching momentum, creating a space where awareness and action grow together --because knowing what to do and being able to do it aren't always the same thing.
Together we'll slow things down enough to see the why beneath the what--the beliefs, experiences, emotions, and relationship patterns shaping your life and moving you forward.
1
You'll get tools, but not quick fixes. Together we'll strengthen resilience and emotional regulation, increase distress tolerance and practice new ways of relating, responding and showing up--even when it's uncomfortable.
2
Experience greater choice, deeper connection, and a life guided by your values rather than stuck patterns.
3

"Insight shows you the map. Capacity lets you walk the trail."
